Anagama firing workshop

The team

Hosted by Magali and the MK Pottery Studio team.

Program

11:00-18:00

Open visit to Can Brull and MK Pottery Studio.

16:00

Introduction to Kujiragama on both days.

Practical information

Transport
Follow the route through Seva; do not take the dirt road from Aiguafreda.
The place
Can Brull is a rural, working space in the Montseny. Bring comfortable shoes and clothes for walking outdoors.
Pieces
Pieces for the anagama must suit high temperatures (1260-1300°C) and are reviewed by the team. Unglazed work is recommended, so ash and flame can transform the surface directly; conditions are confirmed individually after review.
Plan your journey

Price

Attendance is free. Register so the team can plan the day.

Conditions

  • A visit does not automatically confirm space for pieces in the firing.
  • Specific clay bodies, glazes, and pieces must be approved by the team.
